Spring is here!
Thank you mother nature... seems like Spring is really here. Time to open the windows and let in the fresh breezes ... blow out all the dust that has settled over the longest winter in the history of our lives.
Sam is 4 months old. My goodness is he growing. Just 2 weeks ago he learned to turn him self over.. yesterday I catch him rolling across the living room floor. Guess i have to watch him now. Put a leash on him..... no. Thats wouldn't be nice. Wouldnt help much either cuz he would probably just gum his way through it! I'm suprised he still has his fingers......
Elliott is growing way too fast. I swear he grew a foot over night. It's breaking my heart. What happened to my little baby? Last week he began sounding out words, and read a full sentence to his daddy. He's taking a lot of interest in trying to spell too............... and talking back. Thats not so fun. Especially when its really funny, and he catches you laughing. Then he thinks its a game. Oh, here it all begins.
Already half way through the semester. Made a light fixture. I need to get a good picture of it and post it up here. Interesting little experience. So far it hasn't been too hard adjusting to going back... though my house and family are suffering for it a little. Seriously, I need about 8 more hours in my days....... got a good sized break comin up after finals though, so hopefully I can get my life organized enough to make next semester go a bit smoother. Spoke with a lady that owns her own Interior Design firm today. Gonna try and find time to work with her a few days a week. Have NO idea how, but I really need to get my foot in somewhere, get some experience. Plus I really look up to her and know I will learn a lot. E - x - c-i -t-i -n - g!

it's already April?

Well, I finally have a chance to update here, amidst all the school projects and demands from my two wonderful babies. I don't really care if the floor needs to be vacuumed again, the dishes are starting to pile up in the sink, and there are 4 loads of laundry calling my name. I am taking a break.
Well Sam is 3 months old and doing WONDERFULLY! Can you believe I can even say that!? So, what happened? What made my little man better? Well, I can tell you it surely wasn't the doctors and their ridiculous guesses and masses of medications they were trying to get me to shove down his throat. After only 5 visits to the infant chiropractor, his congestion has been totally resolved, and we have taken him off the GERD medications and he is doing excellent! I don't even think he had GERD in the first place.. It was just another silly guess these doctors where tossing our way. Did they think that giving meds to my newborn would make me feel better, like I was 'doing something' for my child? Well, it didn’t. It only made me feel worse. He absolutely hated getting those meds.. ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. It just makes me so mad the way Western medicine and doctors practice, and how they don't work much on expanding their knowledge of natural healing, instead they just shove more pills down our throats, even when they aren't sure of the problem!!!
Anyways...
Through all of this, Sam has been thriving. He is such a chunk. And a talker. He keeps us very entertained and amazed. He is rolling over already and today I even found him wriggling his way off his play mat. This kid is gonna be walking in just a few months I swear.. !!
Elliott is still very much loving the role of the big brother. Nothing makes him laugh as much as Sam does. He is even excited to be sharing a room with his little brother soon. We will be setting up the crib this weekend. Yeah! We get to have our own room back! Woohoo! Granted, there will still be at least one nightly trip to the boy’s room for an early morning feeding, but I don’t anticipate that to last much longer. I just hope Sam doesn’t keep Elliott awake too much. He likes to talk to his toys, a lot, and not quietly. This kid doesn’t do much of anything quietly.
We are hoping to get Elliott a bike this spring and start teaching him to ride. We are also looking into maybe starting him in a sport or guitar lessons. Probably something we won’t be able to afford soon, but he seems really interested, and I think it would be great to get him involved in something OTHER than Thomas the Tank Engine…………… seriously! No more Thomas for birthdays or Christmas anyone.. the obsession has gone far enough…
Well, school started a few weeks ago. I have to say I am very happy to be back in a more creative environment and doing something with my brain again. Its great getting out of the house, letting Ian get a piece of what life is like for me almost every day. Now don’t get me wrong, I am not necessarily complaining here, but come on… a person can only handle so many poopy diapers, peed in beds, bottles, dishes, crying, arguments over what’s for lunch, and Sponge Bob, ok? Well, I could actually handle quite a bit of Sponge Bob, but……. It’s great to be back in class, yo. My small break from it actually got a lot of new creative juices flowing, and I’ve returned with a renewed sense of confidence, dedication and originality.

Just last weekend was Easter. Went for the typical family visits to the Grandparents places for eats and treats and laughs. Finally had the opportunity to introduce Sam to family members that still hadn’t had the chance to see him, and we also got to meet a few new and super cute additions on the Cameron side of the family. I really am lucky to have such wonderful families.
Well, enjoy the pics. I should probably get back to my school projects. Loves and kisses.
